[title size=”2″]Who is Arnold Beizer?[/title] The author, Arnold Beizer has known Muhammad Ali for decades since having met the Champ as a college student in Boston in 1964 when Ali was 21 years old and preparing for the second Sonny Liston Heavyweight Championship Fight. Arnie spent time with Ali at his training camp in Deer Lake PA., traveled with Ali and his entourage on occasions throughout the years and promoted charitable events attended by the Champ. In May, 1994 Arnold Beizer’s Let Freedom Ring, Inc. non-profit organization planned and sponsored Ali’s visit to Vietnam together with POW/MIA Family members of Vietnam War servicemen in search of information about their loved ones known to have been captured and last known alive in captivity. A first hand account is provided in the pages of SAVED BY THE BELL.

[title size=”2″]LET FREEDOM RING[/title]As President of Let Freedom Ring, Inc., Attorney Beizer planned and organized a mission to Vietnam to search for answers as to the whereabouts of 324 American POWs last known alive, part of over 1,800  servicemen Missing In Action and unaccounted for from the Vietnam War. Arnold Beizer was accompanied among others by Carol Hrdlicka, wife of captured Air Force pilot, Col. David Hrdlicka and Albro Lundy III, son of missing pilot Major Albro Lundy, Jr. as well as former 3-time World Heavyweight  Boxing Champion Muhammad Ali who volunteered to help find information for POW/MIA families about their loved ones. According to Mrs. Hrdlicka, there is ample documentary evidence in the hands of our government, proving David Hrdlicka and many other POWs were still ALIVE.

Let Freedom Ring, Inc. through the efforts of Arnold Beizer planned and promoted a charity benefit music concert with some of America ‘s finest singers to help highlight the plight of American servicemen still Missing in Action (MIA) from WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm.

Rita, Israel’s Queen of Song traveled from her homeland to peform for the POW/MIA families, for prisoners of war everywhere and for Muhammad Ali and those in attendance at Philadelphia’s historic and renowned Academy of Music concert hall. Music is the Universal language that reaches into the hearts of all peoples regardless of nationality, race or religion. People cannot be enemies as long as the music lasts. So let the music play. Sing “Let Freedom Ring.”

Celebrities gathered together in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love along with World Champion Boxers, including Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali, Jake the “Raging Bull” Lamotta, Alexis Arguello, boxing greats Ernie Shavers, Tim Witherspoon, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Harold Johnson, “Jolting” Jeff Chandler, Howard Davis and a host of others to Champion the Cause of Freedom.
